The Pendunculate or English Oak is a magnificent and beautiful tree, though not the fastest of growers it will look good after 10 years and be really impressive after 20 years at about 20ft in height. An easy to grow tree which benefits from being replanted at this stage most of all. Older oaks do not tend to grow as rapidly once replanted. Likes both wet and dry and shady sites.
