The Lodgepole Pine will grow to 80ft (24m). Due to its ability to grow on relatively poor ground it is often planted in mix with the faster growing Sitka Spruce. Over time the Sitka out grows the Lodgepole Pine which becomes shaded out and thereby creates a self thinning mix on areas that are difficult to thin. The current height and quantity is shown above.
